About the Stand
Named after the trough feeder found at this location when the lease was first acquired, the Pig Trough is one of the most consistent stands on the club. Since moving to it's new location a few years back, this stand has become one of the better ones available. While the stand itself is not the greatest, the location is. The location only has a feeder without a food plot, but because it is positioned on the edge of two converging bottoms, it still produces large deer.
It is difficult to set up game cameras here because there are few trees around the feeder thick enough to support one. However, with the number of deer seen from the stand, game cameras are not needed to be confident in the number of deer in the area. As may as fourteen deer, including two rack bucks, have been seen in a single evening hunt.
